JOEL was the best guide!

The Mayan Experience tour was the perfect way to experience various authentic parts of Costa Maya. JOEL was the best guide, so nice, knowledgeable and funny. His perspective really made the difference in learning about life there. And, the lunch at the family home was simply the best. The whole experience was nothing like the typical big group excursion with lots of fluff. Real people. Real village. Real life. And very enjoyable in how it is structured and timed. Best time of the whole trip.

Light and refreshing.

Lesley and I would like to express our delight in our excursion while in Costa Maya, Mexico. We found the tour very light and refreshing. Joel was our guide and he so passionate about sharing his information with us. He had a great sense of humor and kept things moving!

The traditional lunch we had with the Mayan family was one day

I highly recommend this tour.

We had a great tour. Everything went as planned/scheduled. Francisco was our guide and he shared so much information with our group which turned out to be mostly other families from Orlando. Too funny!

Great day for my kids.

My husband, two teenage children and I had the pleasure of taking the Mayan Experience tour with Ivan. For all of us, the tour was both wonderful and memorable, was one of the highlights of our trip. Ivan is an excellent speaker, very funny, able to keep your attention; would make a great teacher. His knowledge of the ruins, Mayan culture and history, natural properties of local plants made the tour exceptional. His life story is also fascinating; he should write a book.

Our visit to the Mayan home topped off the visit to the ruins. The food was delicious and the presentation superb, learned a lot about the Mayan way of life. Great day for my kids.

Can't say enough about this company. If you are in Costa Maya, you won't regret taking a tour from the Native Choice.

A wonderful tour.

Francisco and Cristian took us on a wonderful tour. It was a small group with one other family. I think my boys enjoyed the howler monkeys more than the ruins but what do you expect from a 7 and 8 year old. the ruins were great and the guides were very knowledgeable and spoke English very well.

A wonderful experience!

Thank you all for such a wonderful experience! We took the Mayan Experience tour and thoroughly enjoyed all of David's knowledge and insight, both in the van (with such a small group it is very easy to hear and ask questions)and again at the ruins. We never felt rushed.

The lunch was an added bonus - I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive booking outside of the Cruise line, but after reading the other comments here, decided to give it a try, and we are all so pleased we did! Even our 16 year old son admitted it was a fun and worthwhile day.

I highly recommend this - a highlight of our vacation!
