The adventure starts when you join your local guide for an amazing kayak tour to the springs and creeks of the Seven Color Lagoon followed by an optional and fun mud bath.
You may simply choose to relax away from the crowds and enjoy this peaceful piece of paradise in a natural setting.
This adventure takes place in the Bacalar Lagoon located on the edge Sian Kaan Biosphere Reserve and inside the Manatee National Park. The pristine waters of the Seven Color Lagoon are surrounded by thousands of acres of tropical forest. It's the perfect location for those seeking adventure in a natural setting or just relax away from the crowds enjoying the views and a cold drink under the shade of a cabana.

Earliest departure for cruise ship guests is one hour after the ship docks.

This tour departs from The Native Choice Kiosk, a few steps outside the port. Tour confirmations include easy to follow directions, contact numbers and a map.
Be aware
In Costa Maya the port is privately owned and controlled by the cruise lines. Local companies aren't allowed to pick up guests nor have representatives there.
Services and excursions at the port are sponsored by the cruise lines, anyone planning to use any local service must expect to leave the port to find their service provider.
Payment information
A minimum deposit of $15.00USD per person is required to confirm spaces for this tour.
Deposits are fully refundable if for any reason your cruise ship doesn't call port at all in Costa Maya.
Online payment of the reservation total or remaining balance is possible within 21 days (3 weeks) before the tour.

Cancellation policy
2 days before the tour to avoid a cancellation fee of $15.00USD per person.
Level of exertion
This is an easy tour suitable for people with a basic level of fitness and health. Participants must be comfortable with outdoors.
Kayaking, swimming and tubing in the lagoon are optional activities that require a good level of fitness.

This tour is better appreciated by children ages 6 y/o and older.
Weight limit for a single kayak is 220 pounds or 270 pounds for a double kayak.
Children must be 10 years old to kayak alone, younger children can kayak with an
adult.
Kayaking is restricted for pregnant women.
Life vests are mandatory.

This adventure takes place at the Seven Color Lagoon (Bacalar Lagoon) which is Mexico's largest body of fresh water. The lake is 83Km long and fed by underground springs.
Due to the different depths and sediments accumulating at the bottom of the lagoon, during sunny days it's possible to observe up to seven different shades of blue that go from an electric blue to a turquoise green.
The Lagoon is perfect for kayaking, and is also tempting for swimming. You may simply choose to relax, enjoy the breeze and a cold drink, while the others participate in the other activities.
Children who like swimming and adventure are also invited to join us.
For this tour a swimming suit is definitely a must. You may also choose to bring your own towel. At the lagoon there are clean bathrooms where you can change.
Lunch included in this tour consists of authentic beef or chicken or pastor tacos, refried beans, chips and salsa, guacamole (on season). Gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan meals can be accommodated if requested at the moment of booking.
