With Jesus driving and Edder providing commentary, the 7 members of our family had an educational tour in a relaxed format, both on the drive out and back, and also at the ruins. I would highly recommend this tour with this company and these two gentlemen.

Eric is native to the area and has so much knowledge about the rich Mayan culture! The valuable historical information he shares is both personal and cultural. We loved this tour and learned so much. We highly recommend.
We did the lagoon also with lunch and drinks.The tacos were fresh and delicious and the 7 color lagoon was breath taking! On our ride back Roger stopped at a stand and we all got the freshest pineapple juice and mango or pineapple slices you have ever had!! What an amazing experience!

Already missing the lagoon
My family and 3 of my kids friends booked this tour and had a blast. The ruins are awesome, you can climb up to the plaza to see two of the upper temple complexes and then we traveled to Balacar Lagoon. The food at Holly Margarita is delicious. The cocktails and teas are very good too. There is a shaded area to lounge in, kayaks are available for use and the lagoon is beautiful especially if you have polarizing sunglasses. Definitely bring water shoes as the lagoon has a rocky bottom. The only bad thing about the whole trip was the fact we could not stay longer at the lagoon because of early ship departure. All the teens and adults in my group loved this excursion.

Fantastic Tour
Edder rocks. What a great guide. His knowledge of both the ruins and the Mayan village were fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our excursion. He kept us entertained the whole time, with educational facts about the land and the people, which is what we really love when we visit somewhere new. The food at the Mayan village was so delicious, and the ladies there were gracious and welcoming. Blows my mind how some people just want to go sit on the beach when they have an opportunity like this to get to know more about the country they're in. Keep doing what you're doing, Folks!

Best Mayan Tour Ever!
We have been on Mayan ruins tours before, but this tour and our guide, Joel, was simply over the top. We learned so much more about these ruins than we could have ever imagined (and we thought we already knew a lot). Joel was extremely knowledgeable and disseminated the information in such an understandable way, that it made our experience one we will not forget. He allowed us plenty of time to explore and take pictures without burdening us with lectures. But we still learned more than on any other tour we have taken. An incredibly fun and enlightening experience. We would definitely use this tour company again!

We loved our guide
We appreciated our guide’s insights about the ruins and her personal stories as a Mayan. We all loved meal with a family in the neighboring village. The time driving was fine and comfortable. Leave time to walk from cruise ship to their pick up place, closely following the map they provide. We made the reservation through Shore Excursions.

AMAZING TOUR!!!!
We had an amazing time on our tour!! Elliot was beyond amazing! He provided so much information and even taught us some of his dialect of the Mayan language. Roger was our driver and he made us feel safe the entire trip. It was awesome to learn about history of the area and of the Mayan civilization in general. 1000/10 would recommend this to anyone stoping in Mahahual (Costa Maya)!
