NATIVE CHOICE did a great job for us. We had an easy map to follow to find their office- about five minute walk, then we had a short wait while the van and other passengers were organized.
Erick our guide was quite knowledgeable, very personable and easy to understand. He took his job of entertaining us as an important priority- even separating our group from the larger bus tours so we could hear him and not be interfered with.
The trip to the ruins was fairly long- just under two hours ( as advertised ) and our driver was very cautious yet efficient.
We had a great time, they even had umbrellas at the ready for the short rain shower, but by the time we returned to the van we were already seeing improved weather and drying out.
Someone in the other group must have gotten to close because a small troupe of howler monkeys started up a racket, which was very entertaining and made our day!
On the return trip, we were able to get Erick to detour to a local taco shop and he took our dollars and used his pesos for some great, tasty local tacos which all of our tour greatly enjoyed.
Thank you Erick and Native Choice. We are glad we chose this option!

Perfect!
My sister and I enjoyed our tour of Chacchoben with our guide Enrique very much. He shared a tremendous amount of information with us and got us to all of the many different sites. The tour was perfect for us. Enrique and the bus driver were kind enough to go out of the way on the way back and escort me to a geocache that was in the downtown area. You can't beat Native Choice for the small sized group, the price and the attention.
We were very happy with our tour and of course would now like to see more of the Mayan culture.

It's about a four block walk from the Port, but definitely worth it for the money you'll save versus booking onboard! Our guide, Enrique, was engaging and a wealth of information. Me quito el sombrero, Native Choice!

Informative and fun
This tour was so fun and our guide Fabiola was fantastic. She was full of information and went way beyond what we had expected. Heriberto was our driver and he was so great. Also Ron was part of our tour guides and was also great. We were very happy with the whole experience.
