Wonderful Excursion

This would be my first port and my favorite port. Ivan was so friendly, warm, funny and welcoming. His knowledge and passion for what he does and his knowledge of the Mayan culture was extraordinary. The ruins were amazing and I hope they are able to build some walkways one day. There is so many artifacts under the ground that have not been discovered and the more tourists walk on it the more it will be destroyed. On to the lagoon, food was out of this world! What a beautiful resort in the middle of nowhere. Everyone is Costa Maya were beyond friendly. As Ivan put it, "in my Country today you will be treated like Royalty" and I sure felt that!

Wonderful tour to the Chacchoben ruins

This is a wonderful tour to the Chacchoben Mayan ruins and a great lunch with a Maya family and friends!

The Native Choice tour group provides superb service. Tour guides were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and polite. They made the long ago civilization almost come to life. The bus and vans were comfortable and air conditioned. The luncheon was delicious and very, very special. It was a real treat and an experience to remember.

Small and personal tour

We had an amazing experience! Small, personal tour unlike the cruise ship excursion. It's like shopping in a boutique( Native Choice) compared to a huge box store. Service and personalization can't be beat. Newer comfortable vans to transport you, unlimited cold bottled water and juice boxes, umbrellas offered to help with the sun.

Ivan is an amazing guide. Kasi was a wonderful guide too. Raul drive us safely and we topped in Pineapple City for amazing fresh pineapple, oranges and tangerines.

Worth every penny.

We really enjoyed this excursion. We knew a little about the mayan's culture but left with a lot more knowledge. Worth every penny.

The highlight of our entire cruise!

This tour was one of the highlights of our entire cruise! Ivan was a very knowledgeable guide and made the drive out to the ruins very short with his wit & wisdom. You could tell right away that he is very passionate when he speaks and it kept our attention throughout the tour.

We both highly recommend booking this tour with them instead of the cruise line, they provide excellent service, inexpensive rates, and all around fun!

Thanks also to Kasi for letting us try the pineapple with the chili pepper, even though we didn't like it, it was nice to try something different in a new country

We had a fantastic experience!

We had a fantastic experience! Our guide, Joel, was extremely knowledgeable and shared fascinating information with us. We were driven to the site in a private vehicle and when we arrived, we were the only people at the site. I am very glad we did not go on the ship's excursion as there were twelve bus loads of people!

Overall, this was the best excursion of our cruise. We highly recommend Native Choice!

One of the best excursions we have ever taken.

EXCELLENT! One of the best excursions we have ever taken. It was not too long or too short and the pace was excellent. The beauty and magnificence of these ruins is just wonderous! Ivan made the entire experience one to remember from the minute he stepped into the van until the time he dropped us at port.

Ivan, your knowledge, stories, and passion about what you do and who you are made a world of difference.

We thank you for your time and attention and for allowing us to have an excellent day in Costa Maya. Keep the jokes comming, watch out for speed bumps and yes, you were right, the spicy pineapple is highly addictive!
