Thank you for all the information you shared with use about Tulume. I had visited Tulume in 1996. To see the changes surprised me. To hear the history again was worth the trip. I was very pleased with our Guide.

A great tour with Native Choice.

We had a great tour with Native Choice. Our driver, and guides were informative and accommodating. The ruins are so fascinating I could have stayed longer! Plus the information given to us on the way there and back about the surrounding area and the people of Costa Maya filled in the whole picture.

One of the best tours I have ever taken...

This was one of the best tours I have ever taken.........and I have been on a lot of tours over the years. This was actually my first non-cruise line tour and I certainly was not disappointed!!

Our guide, Joel, was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. He always found a place in the shade when giving us information about the Mayans of the past and the ruins. There was no standing around in the hot sun while a guide droned on and on as I have experienced during other tours.

Lunch was fantastic and we enjoyed every part of the meal....including making our own tortillas!!

This was one of the few tours that I was sad to see come to an end. I would never, ever hesitate to book another tour using Native Choice. Absolutely every aspect of this experience was conducted in a friendly, professional manner. My husband is still raving about it and told lots of people back on the ship how great it was. Kudos to everyone at Native Choice!!!!

Thank you to Kasi our tour guide and David our driver for our private tour for our family of 5 in Costa Maya - a tiny and secluded resort on the Seven Colour Lagoon.

Kayaking across the lagoon and swimming were awesome. The day also included an open bar and a great lunch (thanks so much for accommodating our request for vegetarian food). After the impersonal and crowded life on a cruise ship, this was a day to remember.

The tour of a lifetime!

Our guide, Francisco Vazquez, took us on the tour of a lifetime! It was just my husband and teenage son and me-so that was awesome, too! Francisco excavates at Kohunlich and holds a degree in history. He talked to us in the van on the way there for more than an hour about the Mayas--culture, traditions, geography, etc. I was enthralled!! Doing this tour with him made it absolutely priceless!!!
(I travel frequently and have never posted a review before, but this tour guide was seriously so awesome that I felt I had to take the time.)

If you can get Francisco to lead your tour, it is a great deal at half the price!
The only thing I can imagine would make it better would be some kind of amplification for the guide's voice during the ride--we could just barely hear over the noise of the vehicle--if there had been more people (farther back), I don't think they would have been able to hear.

DEFINITELY the highlight of our cruise!

This tour was DEFINITELY the highlight of our cruise! It was completely awesome from the driver (Pedro) and travel guide (Jacob) to our guide at the ruins (Enrique)- everybody was knowledgable, caring, and fun. The lunch after the tour was amazingly delicious and 7 colors lagoon is absolutely BEAUTIFUL....forget about feeling like a tourist- here you feel like family!

Thanks guys for making our trip the absolute BEST!!!!

Fascinating archaeological site.

A very interesting a comprehensive tour of a fascinating archaeological site.

Our tour guide, Joel, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the details and history of each temple we saw. After describing each temple, he allowed us ample time to browse and photgraph.

The bus drive there was nice too. This tour group is very professional.

What a great experience!

What a great experience! Joel our tour guide was very educated in the Mayan culture. There were things he explained that I didn't know about the Mayan culture. The trip to the ruins was amazing!!! There were several ruins and some that were still covered by the jungle.

The lunch at there village was excellent! It was very easy to get to and transportation was A-1. The best excursion through out the whole trip. I don't usually comment on anything. This was well worth it. DO NOT miss out!!!
