Maya ruin experience

Casey, was the best tour guide we have ever had on a excursion. Climbing the temples was something my wife always has wanted to do. Two hour ride there was enjoyable due to Casey and her knowledge of Mayan culture past and present.

This was #1 of all of our excursions! Could not have asked for a better tour Guide and driver! Mariea was very knowledgeable and informative regarding the Ruins and also gave us a lot of info on the culture! The ladies who prepared the delicious meal for us did an outstanding job! Highly recommend!

Amazing Experience

I honestly cannot say enough incredible things about this company, this excursion and the experience my husband and I had. Ivan, our tour guide, was so extremely knowledgeable and not only did we learn so much from this excursion, but we experienced something a cruise ship tour could never give us. Small tour groups, clean reliable transportation, knowledgeable tour guides, and an experience of a lifetime. The short walk from the port is well worth it. We have told everyone we know about this company and will continue to sing it's praises.

LOVED it!!

From the price, location, staff, ease of booking... everything about this was perfect. We booked through our agent and ended up with a $20 discount per person. When we arrived, we walked the short distance to the location and were quickly greeted and assigned to a group. I loved it because the groups were each 10-12 people so we did not have to deal with a large group. Anastacio was our driver. He spoke limited English but was a super safe driver and kept us hydrated throughout the day. At one point, I was sitting on my own waiting for the group and he came over to make sure I was ok and not lost or anything. Super nice guy. Erick was our tour guide. We loved him and his personality. He had tons of great information, insight from having grown up in the area and was 100% focused on us and making sure we did not get lost in the melee of all of the other tour busses at the location. We really were never crowded or anything. He was a complete pro at making sure our experience was one of sightseeing this amazing site and not milling around with 100 other people. I would book them again and would ask for these two guys over and over again. What a great experience!

My Favorite Excursion!

We did three excursions and this was my favorite by far. Miguel, our driver, and Kasi, our guide, were outstanding. The drive to Kohunlich was two hours but Kasi filled our time with fun, interesting facts of Mayan history. She stopped by her local town where her family were pineapple farmers so we could taste fresh pineapple. At the ruins, we bombarded Kasi with questions which she joyfully answered. Miguel kept an eye on us while we were touring making sure no one was left behind, supplied cold water, helped us climb through a secret passage, and brought us frozen lemon & mint soaked wash clothes at the end of the tour. We had lunch on the bus on the drive back as Kasi continued teaching us about the locals and the ruins. The site was beautiful and the guides insightful, helpful, and pleasant.
