Fantastic Experience!

We took the tour of the ruins and then onto lunch with a maya family, it was great, the food was fresh and very good. The tour guide ( Diego ) was Fantastic, he explained everything about the region, pyramid's, the food we were eating. The driver Alegerdie was very good and drove very well with us in the air conditioned van. I was recommend this tour and recommend Diego and Alegerdie as your tour guide and bus driver. We would do this tour again!

Great excursion

It was a GREAT excursion. Our tour guide Joel was totally awesome, A good tour guide makes a world of difference. The ruins was nice, and the lagoon was excellent. Thumbs up!!!

Best Excursion of our cruise!

We went on the Dzibanche tour which was the best shore excursion of our cruise! It was absolutely awesome! We were the only ones at the site (no crowds and very pleasant). Our guide (Joel) was a native Mayan descendant and did an awesome job explaining the history of the area and the people. We got to climb all over three huge temple pyramids, With fantastic views over the trees from the top. Okay to be honest, when we were booking, we were a little worried about the time frame for getting back in time for the ships departure. But decided to go for it. They got us back in time; we were so are glad we went! I will definitely recommend The Native Choice!

FYI: My uncle went to chacchoben site and really enjoyed it there, but he said there were a lot of tourist there but still enjoyed it.

Unbelievable Experience

What an incredible trip to hidden treasures! Diego, Rose and Raul made our trip unforgettable.

The knowledge they shared was priceless. They shared so much wonderful information about the ruins and the Mayan culture. The personal touch was fantastic.

If you are choosing a trip this is the one! The ruins are inspiring and the trip to Seven Colors Lagoon was like nothing we had ever seen. Outstanding!!!!!!

Mayan Ruins Tour

Enrique was very knowledgable. He worked well with the children in the group. He has a sense of humour as well. The ruins are well maintained and gives a good overview of what they found, to partially excavated, then fully restored. The van was comfortable / AC; water included. Given the choice of going to the lagoon or going back to shop by vote in the van. Would do this tour again. I booked it through Cruises.com / Shore excursions

This was a great tour with an amazing staff. From the pickup to the drop off everything was awesome. Well worth the money :)

Great tour!

We had a great time! The Dzibanche ruins were lovely, shaded & secluded. We were the only family going & alone at the ruins for most of our time. We had a great guide, Kasi who answered a TON of our questions. Very informative. She was great. We climbed to the top of two temples and also saw howler monkeys and chicleta tree (chewing gum) there. The only downside of the tour is possibly the driving time of 1.5 hours each way but it flew by for us when Kasi told us a lot about the area. I thought it was worth it.The tour is 6 hours and we got back a little early. Easy to find location from port. 5-10 minute easy walk. There are bathrooms at the ruins site.

Great Tour

Took the tour with Casey and Miguel. Casey was a wealth of knowledge, during the drive over to the ruins she gave a great explanation of the Mayan culture. When at the the ruins she gave great details of what we were looking at. We had a woman on our tour that was in a wheel chair, Miguel was there helping the whole way. I would highly recommend this tour and company.
