We had excellent tour guides including Rose, Edder, and Tacho. We loved the ruins and the knowledge. Had a blast at the lagoon. Thanks for all your hard work!!! We will definitely look you up if we travel that way again.

This was the perfect tour for us as my wife has some difficulty walking and yet we enjoyed the whole experience. Our guide Diego reminded me of our NPS rangers with his extensive knowledge and passion about the culture.

The Mayan Experience tour (ruins and lunch in local village home) was one of the best ones we have ever taken. We were taken to the ruins before the cruise bus tours descended and Diego gave us a great tour of the area. I cannot say enough about his efforts in ensuring that our day was perfect. It was a wonderful culinary/historical/cultural tour and we highly recommend it to anyone stopping in Costa Maya. Diego, you were a phenomenal guide!

Thank you, Native Choice, for also refunding our deposit for the two members of our group who were unable to attend. I wasn't expecting the refund as it was rather short notice. Great business practice to ensure repeat customers and positive word of mouth!

Day of Wonder

I have been on over 200 different Shore Excursions offered by the various cruise lines.

This was my first "Off ship" tour company. The tour office is an easy four block stroll from the cruise compound ( Easy to find.. only one main street to talk down..) The area is extremely safe and no "Dodgy places"

You could not have a nicer bunch of people as your hosts in Costa Maya. These folks went out of their way to make our day memorable.

Our morning was spent touring Mayan ruins then our afternoon was spent having lunch in the home village of the Tour Company. You will be treated not like ":tourists' there, but more as friends who are stopping in to have lunch.

The lunch is amazing. It is so NOT your typical Mexican food. The materials for the lunch are all grown in the area. As fresh as can be and wonderfully seasoned.

I highly recommend this tour, and this tour company!

Amazing tour!!

We had an awesome time in our tour and would do it all over again anytime! We were impressed by how much information we received and really enjoyed everything about this tour, thanks to our guide Diego and driver Edgar. We highly recommand this excursion!

Lovely day spent ashore

Had a great time spending my 6 hours with our guide Diego and driver Miguel. We were slightly late to reach the tour office to start but they were gracious about it. Diego started us off with a variety of interesting stories about the area, towns, animals, and personal tales from his life... as we approached the ruins, he got more into Maya background info. Both of them are actually Maya, which is pretty cool.

The site itself is lovely. Got to climb a couple of temples, including one with a view over the treetops that you have to see to believe. Really worth climbing the second temple. Miguel showed us an allspice tree -- I chewed a leaf, very interesting. Heard some howler monkeys and saw some spider monkeys. Good little snack/lunch. Pleasant ride back, and we stopped at the pineapple town upon request ($1 for a bag of pineapple slices).

Diego was nice and funny. Oh, and Miguel was a quick, pro driver. :] Great low-stress way to spend a shore day.

Best Mayan ruins tour ever!!!

I want to thank our wonderful tour guide Diego and our driver Miguel for a great trip to the Dzibanche ruins. The drive out and back was very long (over 2 hours each way) but was well worth the trip. You are able to climb these particular ones if you are able. I say this because if you are at all afraid of heights you may have an issue. It can be very intimidating, especially once you get to the top and realize there is only one way to get back down.
We are extremely glad we booked this excursion and glad we booked with Native choice! Thanks again to Diego and Miguel!!!
