It was just awesome!

We booked the Kohunlich tour. We ended up touring with just one other couple. Our driver, Alejandro, and our guide, Fransisco, were gracious and accommodating. On the way to the site, we stopped for a snack from the best street vendors and to use the restrooms. After that Francisco started the tour by explaining the Mayan history. But first he asked of if we wanted to switch to the Dzibanche tour, he said the choice was ours but he recommended it because we could climb on the ruins, it was an entire city, and there are no people there. We all agreed that sounded better, so we went there instead and we were all SO glad. It was just awesome to see it all and have Francisco explain the history, he really knows his stuff. In fact he volunteers for free on the excavation sites, just because he loves it so much. We were really glad we had him as our tour guide...he also speaks 'monkyish', at least that's what we named it. He could howl like the monkeys and they responded allowing us to get closer and take pictures...just way too cool...This is a must have experience, go to Dzibanche and get Francisco as a guide!!!

The best of my holidays.

This was a fantastic tour. The best of my holidays. The ruins were interesting, and visiting the Mayan family was a lovely experience. The guide had a great attitude, and knew so much about the ruins and was a great host. Thank you to Eliu and to Donia Adella and her family!

The best tour of our vacation

This was the best tour of our trip. Fransisco, our guide, was very knowledgeable. The vans they used to transport us on the your were exceptional. They were clean, new, and air conditioned. That made traveling so comfortable. Our favorite part was the kayaking excursion to Laguana Maya resort. I can't begin to explain how beautiful that resort is. It exceeded my expectations. The meal waiting for us was the meal of our trip. They were chicken fajitas made fresh that day. The owner, Roberto, was so welcoming. You can tell he ha a passion for this resort that he built.

The fresh water lagoon was pristine blue. The atmosphere was so relaxing. This is a MUST for anyone coming to costa Maya. I would definitely recommend booking the ruins tour with the kayaking at this exclusive resort. You can be guaranteed a private tour. Not a lot of tourists. Only about 20 people. Roberto doesn't let the cruise lines book people to his resort. This maintains the exclusive rights to have a private relaxing afternoon. I would come back again just to stay a few days at the resort. The service was incredible.

Tour of a lifetime

Amazing!!! Tour of a lifetime, we were so informed of the Mayan culture, the yucatan and the ruins. Ivan did such a wonderful job, he knew everything there was to know!! I would highly recommend this tour to everybody and cannot wait to bring our children some day!!

A HUGE thanks to Eliu for making what started out as a disappointing cruise change into the best day of our trip! Our tour with your company was just wonderful, and Eliu is a dynamic tour guide. He delivers the Mayan tour with such eloquence that you are transported back to the days when the site was teeming with life.

Fantastic!

Did the Chacchoben Maya Ruins tour and it was fantastic. I really enjoyed your introductory lecture in front of the first Pyramid, where Ivan so skillfully drew out 2000+ years of Mayan history on his pad and explained the connections between Olmec, Toltec, and Aztec with the Mayas.
