Brilliant tour

Thanks for the brilliant tour we had with you and the wealth of information you gave us about the Mayans. It was wonderful walking around the site on our own and being able to take photos and videos without other tourists getting in the way. So much better than a large tour. We would recommend you to all English cruise ships.

Ivan was a wonderful tour guide.

Ivan was a wonderful tour guide. his skill, knowledge and passion were very evident. This was one of our highlight of our entire vacation. His calm informative style really helped us understand some of this ancient culture better.

Great, relaxed time!

Hi Ivan and David, and also Hi to Israel and his driver buddy (who's name I have forgotten - sorry!), and to the young man who was our guide (name? - sorry also!). I just wanted to thank you all for a really great, relaxed time! Our ride with Israel and his buddy out to the site was informative, and much fun. Both Israel and the guide had a lot to say about the world of their ancestors, and evinced their own lives openly as well. There was time to see, to just sit and look around, and to ask all the questions we had. Everywhere we went was the chance to meet people and to share your culture a little more closely; this was so enriching and heartwarming. And the tour was flexible, moving around so that we had the places to ourselves most of the time, which was a very peaceful and fun way to 'be a tourist'. After the site was a wonderful lunch in a new 'hacienda' on a freshwater lake in the jungle, with sunning, swimming and canoeing after lunch for some hours. It was all exquisite. Thank you all so much!

An unforgettable experience.

I would recommend the native choice for anyone who visits Costa Maya. We had an unforgettable experience. The tour guide and our driver were very pleasant and knowledgeable about the Mayans and also the local descendants that still reside in the area. Of course the ruins were remarkable.

Another highlight was stopping at a roadside stand and purchasing a snack of fresh fruit and a spicy pepper seasoning mix from the locals. Very tasty.

Great job Native Choice, if we ever visit again we will be sure to use your service.

This was a fantastic tour!

This was a fantastic tour! We had a terrific driver (Christian) and an excellent guide who enthusiastically shared his wealth of knowledge about Mayan history, archaeology, and architecture. He introduced us to fresh pineapple with fresh chili powder to let us experience a local treat. He made sure everyone had a great time. A+ !

Top notch, from beginning to end.

What an amazing excursion! Top notch, from beginning to end.

Our guide, Frine, was everything you could hope for...personable, knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating. Her ability to tie together vast amounts of info of the Mayan culture with the ruins was impressive, all presented in a relaxed, engaging manner. We were fortunate to have Frine in our brand new van on the way to the site, and she shared lots of insights, history and info on the area.
By far the best excursion we went on. We never felt rushed. We were given as much time as we wanted to take pictures and ask questions.
The online booking was simple and efficient and the cost minimal, especially in comparison to what was offered via the cruise line.
A definite must do.
