Best excursion ever

We had a fabulous time going to the ruins and then to the Mayan village for lunch. Eric, our guide, was very proud of his heritage and it showed in his presentation. The tour as a whole has to be the best I've ever been on.

Really interesting tour!

We had a great tour of the Mayan ruins and then a delightful tour of a Mayan village. Then visited a home and learned to make tacos and were served a lovely lunch. It was beautiful, and interesting. Our guide to the village was Marie and she was very knowledgeable and fun. The ladies teaching Mayan cooking were sweet. I highly recommend this tour. We learned about the ruins, saw monkeys swinging in the trees and had a great day. The Native Choice staff was great.

Amazing Experience!

I booked this tour independent of my cruise. I booked directly on website as I wanted to send the money directly to local business. I couldn't be happier. My tour cost $55. Through Norwegian It was over $119 for the SAME thing. Loved the guides. Very comfortable buses with ac and they make sure you have bottled water. We were even offered a cold damp cloth to refresh with after the tour. LOVED the company. Nice air conditioned building and very pleasant people. I trusted them 100%. The ruins were an experience of a lifetime. So much history. Go. You will be very happy.

Fantastic tour!

Thoroughly enjoyed your! Our guide Enrique was very engaging and gave us lots of info about the Mayan civilization and this particular site. The Ruins are incredible. It's a very large site with a number of pyramids and other buildings and well preserved compared to other sites we've been. Native Choice staff were professional and very accommodating. I would definitely book through them again if I'm back in the area. It was only about a 10 minute walk from the ship.

Our favourite excursion!

We absolutely loved this tour. Ivan was our guide and his passion for the ruins and surrounding area is evident. He didn't just show us the ruins, he explained the customs of the Mayan people, he showed us the many different trees in the area and explained how they were used by the people. The meal at the village was beyond amazing, such a great experience making our own tortillas then sitting down to a homemade meal! Water was provided throughout the tour and the vehicles used were all new. The whole tour was very well organized and we had no worries that we would make it back to our ship on time.

Wonderful time

We had a wonderful trip to the Kohunlich Ruins with Kasi and driver Rito. It was just my husband and I and another couple. Kasi was very knowledgeable and personable and we loved her history of the Mayan people. The price was less than half what we would have paid the cruise line.

Chacchoben Extreme Tour

This was the best excursion! Out tour guide Kasi was awesome! She was knowledgable and her visual aids were incredible- as we looked around she was the only person with visual aids to help us gain a better understanding of what we were looking at! After the Ruins we went to a small spot for lunch which was great and then on to the lagoon where the drinks were flowing. Truly enjoyed this- Kasi, Alex and Elena thank you for a great experience.

AMAZING VIEWS AND SERVICE

the arrival of our cruise was delayed 1hr even tough the company accommodated our tour to be able to visit both places as planned, We really enjoyed our tour at the Chacchoben ruins, we also could see monkeys there! our guide was very good, it's always amazing to see something of the Mayan culture, going to the 7 color lagoon they offered us a refreshing beer, we were the only ones at the resort so the service was Exceptional! the Lagoon is just beautiful WE LOVED IT!!!!
