Another Great Tour

This was our fourth tour with the Native Choice. Another great time. Our tour guides were just amazing. They are very informative and engaging. We had Lorenzo at Chacchoben and Alondra for the ride to the ruins and at the lake. On the way to the Ruins we learned a lot of history of the area, got to try some spicy candy called pulparindo, I recommend trying it. Got some fresh pineapple with chili powder which is amazing. The ruins are great Chacchoben which means red corn has some very nice temples which you cannot climb to the top anymore but are still incredible. This company has small tours which you get your own guide our group was about 10 people. So this is so much better than the cruise ship tours. As we were leaving the ruins about 5 big buses pulled up from the ship. The ruins have some really good places to get some pictures. If you are lucky you will see monkeys. After the ruins we headed to the lake. Our group for this part was just 4 of us. We got to the resort, which is really nice. Had a good lunch with some drinks and headed to the water. The area is so relaxing and spread out. You can kayak, canoe or just swim in the lake. The water is beautiful. They offer massages for $20 for 25 minutes. It was worth it. Everything was great with this tour and this company as always. I am a travel agent and I only send my clients to this company. They are safe and reliable.

Excellent Experience

My wife & I would like to thank Native Choice for the excellent tour & guide we had for the Chacchoben Ruins tour. We were a little anxious booking directly with a tour company rather than going through the ship excursions however, those anxieties were put to rest the moment we stepped into the office of Native Choice and saw how well organized they were & how quickly we were on our way. Our guide (sorry, I can not remember his name) was a wealth of knowledge and a lot of fun to be with. We came away with a lot of information and a great understanding of the culture of Maya civilization. After talking to others who took the RC excursion, we were so happy that we choose Native Choice. We highly recommend your company and will certainly come to you again when in Costa Maya. Thank you for making that day one of the highlights of our cruise.

Great Customer Service

Unfortunately, our ship was unable to dock at Costa Maya due to strong winds and rough seas so we weren't able to do this excursion. But I still wanted to write a review on the great customer service. I appreciate the quick refund of the excursion deposit! My husband and I cruise once a year, so I'm sure Costa Maya will be a port we try to visit again soon. And when that day comes I will be sure to book an excursion through The Native Choice tours again!

Great tour!

We arrived in port and walked to the Native Choice office. The route was short, but the directions were a little confusing. We got there without issue.

The tour was comprised of Diego, the tour guide and Alejandro, the van driver, and only ONE other couple! Talk about a personal tour!

The van was clean and comfortable, and water was provided before leaving and en route. The ride was about 50 minutes each way, and the driver was very careful.

The tour was simply OUTSTANDING! Diego's knowledge and ability to share that with us was just phenomenal. The walking tour was easy even with occasional light rain (they supplied umbrellas).
The ruins (while not on the scale of Chitchen Itza near Cancun) were very interesting nonetheless thanks to Diego's depth of knowledge. We did see spider monkeys, some very interesting vegetation, and found some old pierces of pottery as well!

Overall, a great experience thanks two wonderful guides!

Excellent

Our tour to the ruins was excellent. Diego very knowledgeable about the area and the ruins. He and Alejandro we're courteous and allowed our group to take pictures and explore the ruins at our own pace. I strongly recommend this tour and make sure you ask for Diego and Alejandro.

Chacchoben & 7 Colors Lagoon

Thank you to Erick for a wonderful tour! The groups were small, the service was great, and we recieved a plethora of information regarding the Mayan culture, the ruins, and the surrounding areas. The chicken at the lagoon resort was DELICIOUS and we throughly enjoyed relaxing under the huts and using the kayaks to go out on the water. It's a slight walk from the port, but totally worth it. I higy recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area! Can't wait to come back and try one of those pineapples that looked so amazing.

Excellent!!

Had such a fantastic time! Our driver was safe, the ride was long but enjoyable as our guide (Lorenzo) Was full of cool facts and information to make the commute more enjoyable. This trip was beautifully coordinated and we felt very safe the entire time, which was important as we had some first time vacationers in our group. Thank you so much for the memories and we will surely be referring customers your way!

Exceptional excursion

We had a very enjoyable morning, All of the Native Choice employees were pleasant and professional, we were driven in a new comfortable vehicle. Our tour guide and driver, Kasi and Pedro were helpful and knowledgeable. We were taken back to the port in plenty of time. I highly recommend this tour and company.
