My wife and I took the Mayan Experience excursion with Diego Mex, our guide and Rito, our driver. It was informative, comfortable and touching.

We enjoyed touring the Chac'choben site, but it was truly our connection to Diego, Rito and the family with whom we visited in Chac'choben village that made the trip special for us.

Awesome tour

Would definitely recommend this tour to others! David was a terrific tour guide and a fountain of Mayan knowledge. The meeting spot was a little bit of a walk but there are plenty of locals to point you in the right direction. The drive was easy, less than an hour to the ruins, but not much to see. Chacchoben itself was quite a sight! Got to see wild monkeys and get some pictures at ruins that were not crowded or hot. Glad we chose to do this in Costa Maya. Also the Native Choice staff were easy-going and flexible with reservations. Definitely worth the value!

Great Tour!!

Great tour to the Dzibanche ruins, if you love history, this is perfect! you step right into a piece of Mayan history. Lots to see & learn. I want to recognize my tour guide "Enrique" for being so informed in Mayan history - it was pleasant & informative conversation all the way up to the ruins. also the driver "Saul" for his safe & professional driving. GREAT JOB guys!!!! I would recommend this trip to anyone...

Amazing

Loved it! Our tour guide Erick was AMAZING! He was so knowledgable, friendly, and entertaining. The bus was clean and air conditioned and water and cool towels were supplied to help with the heat. I would highly recommend him and this company to anyone looking for a fun, educational experience.

Great Costa Maya Adventure!

This tour was awesome! It was made even better by the excellent tour guides that we had. Erick was so knowledgeable and gave such wonderful information about the local community and Mayan ruins that it gave us such a personalized tour. Alondra and Edgar were very special too! We couldn't have had a better group to travel with. The tour of the ruins was so interesting and well worth the travel time. The stop at the Blue Lagoon Resort couldn't have been more peaceful! Such a fabulous place to spend some relaxing time away from the ship and the lunch they served was delicious! Don't miss the opportunity to take advantage of this well organized, very informative, and relaxing shore excursion. Being in a small group vs the big bus ship trip was much better. Great company to tour with. Don't be afraid!! Thank you Erick, you were fantastic!!

HIstoric Experience

Out of 3,000+ passengers on our ship we were a private tour of 9 people. Very intimate and very enjoyable. Erick, Edgar, & Alondra were extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything we saw. Erick is a graduate archeologist and had actually worked at the Chacchoben site. The private resort stop after the ruins was an unexpected surprise.

I would book a tour with these folks again, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Most enjoyable!

Excellent tour

We had a great tour, learning a lot about the Mayan and Mexican cultures. Our tour guide, Diego, was very informative. Our driver was Pedro and he added comments as needed.

Fantastic tour!

My husband and I loved Kati, Melvin, Able were great addition to our tour! Kati filled us in and then some on the history of the area as well as the ruins. The only thing I would want you to consider is having headsets to make it easier to hear her. I know it's an expense but I hate to miss one word! Thank you!
