Informative & Muy delicioso~!
Met @ the tour office w/Erick (recommended from a friend); tour was very informative and enlightening. Erick did a great job with the information and allowed time to view the ruins and answer questions. Later, Erick took us to the village where they showed us how the locals live and sustain their spices and food within the walls of the yard and house. Erick's mother taught us how to make tortillas and then fed us a traditional meal complete with hibiscus tea. We were able to purchase some items made there @ good prices. Absolutely enjoyed this excursion. Thanks again Erick.

A spectacular tour
Highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in learning about ancient Mayan culture/architectures as well as relaxing at a private resort near the paradise-like Blue Lagoon. Our tour guide, Pedro Sanchez was extremely knowledgable about Mayan traditions, and he showed us a lot of pictures and graphics which were super helpful in understanding one of the most renowned ancient civilizations on the Meso-American soil. All the staff members at the private resort were also very friendly and accommodating to the needs of tourists.

Great experience
Our guide was Enrique for this tour. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Emile was our driver and he was quite competent. The ruins were not crowded as our group of 8 climbed the first ruin and leisurely ambled around the site. Enrique provided a fresh, tasty ham & cheese sandwich with chips and a cold drink. The day was a great experience which we all enjoyed.

An unmissable experience
We arrived a little late due to our underestimating the walk (we have two disabled travellers with us) eventually jumped taxi and the company arranged for the 5 of us to catch up on the tour ....
Lorenzo initially began regaining us with information re the local villages and when we arrived at the ruins Edder and Rito took over.
Edder is extremely knowledgable and patient, we were a bit slow as it was a drizzly day and the paths were wet and wee bit slippy. We ere entertained or should i say Edder was interrupted by some spider monkeys playing in the canopy above.
Rito was very kind to assist one of our party with the short path between the ruins .
Regaled by the information and knowledge of Edder it was then time to head for the lunch time with the family and this was a most special treat indeed. Glad we booked this trip, felt we genuinely enjoyed the hospitality and the culture and would recommend booking this trip and using this company with no fears whatsoever.

Outstanding experience
Outstanding experience with our tour guide Jose Manuel and our driver. The ride is smooth and safe. Our driver is kind enough to carry cold water for our whole group (12 people). Our tour guide Jose Manuel Palafox Puc is very knowledgeable and patient with our young and elderly travellers. We learned a lot on Mayan history and culture from the tour!

Amazing Ruin Fantastic Guide!
David was a truly wonderful guide, so knowledgeable about history and also a very interesting and fun person. He was also a safe driver. We were the only two people on the tour, so David was our private guide :) what a treat!! At the ruins he found pieces of pottery and even a piece of an obsidian knife. I am lactose intolerant, our lunch was a vegetarian sandwich, I'm not sure what the greens were, but they were amazing! I would recommend to anyone that they book through Native Choice, it's a short walk, the map is very accurate and easy to follow. All of their tours look very interesting, we are looking forward to going back to Costa Maya and trying out another one.
