Amazing, authentic and exclusive!

We loved this tour. Our guide knew so much about the region and people and shared his knowledge which made the tour very interesing. We arrived at the ruins before any other tourists and it felt like we had the place just for ourselves. The lunch was great at a beautiful location at a lake and our kids loved making (and eating) tortillas. Very recommendable tour!

My sister and I booked this excursion for our Costa Maya stop. Our tour guide, David, was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. My sister was a little unsteady and David stayed right beside her and made sure she could safely make the whole tour. We couldn't have been more pleased with him or our driver.

Great Service

As a site, Chacchoben was not as interesting as Chichen Itza. However, as a tour, I can not express enough how great our experience was with The Native Choice, specifically our guide Rose and our driver (sorry I can't remember his name). It is a little bit of a walk to get to the office, but they dropped us off as close as possible to the ship when we got back. It was very hot and they brought water and umbrellas to use during our hike and frozen wash clothes for us to use after our hike. They were great the whole day. They stopped and showed use different local vegetation and to sample local pineapple. Amazing experience with an amazing crew.

Excellent!

We have travelled all over the world and I can honestly say that this tour was one of the best we have ever experienced. From the moment we arrived at their office, which is an easy walk from the port, it was well-planned, well-timed, and well-constructed. Our guide, Hugo, was professional, knowledgeable, great with all ages (from older adults to children). The porter Abel followed us with a cooler of bottled water as well as umbrellas in case of rain. We saw spider monkeys and even a capybara and learned a wealth of information about the vegetation. I would suggest that you take this tour while in Costa Maya!

Amazing tour and guide

Lorenzo was great! He provided so much information and encouraged questions from the group. Our tour of the Chacchoben Ruins was beautiful. On the way back we stopped in Pineapple town to get some fresh pineapple and dragonfruit. Both Lorenzo and the driver provided water bottles to the group to make sure we stay hydrated. If I am ever back in the area, I will definitely try another tour ran by this company.

Excellent Tour

Wasn't sure about booking this as a separate trip from the cruise ship, but need not have worried!
Very professional Company they were expecting us when we arrived. Vehicles used were like brand new and spacious minibuses. Staff were extremely helpful and made sure we wanted for nothing, giving us water throughout the day. They even thought to bring umbrella's and handed them out when there was an unexpected (Obviously the staff had done their homework) shower.
Our guide was super knowledgeable and shared his knowledge with us with enthusiasm.
