Had the best time on this tour. Diego (with the mustache) our guide was absolutely perfect and just made the day wonderful in every way! Such a great experience learning about the Mayan ways and relaxing at the lagoon. Wish I could have stayed forever. Highly recommend this tour, company and Diego! Thank you for a great day.

WOW! Do this excursion!

This excursion was the best part of my whole cruise! Yoel is an amazing tour guide, his knowledge and passion for his rich history comes through during the tour. Yoel welcomed our questions and goofiness with a warm smile. Visiting the Mayan family was AMAZING! The food the ladies prepared was so delicious. Easily the best meal of the trip.

Thank you so much! I haven't stopped talking about the excursion and showing my friends and family pictures.

Wonderful Day

We had an awesome day with Adan. We went kayaking in the 7 color lagoon and then hung out at their sea side facilities. Lunch was pork and chicken tacos and was fabulous and all of their salsa choices were fun to try! They kept the drinks full and our group of ten enjoyed hanging out. Our kayak tour was a little rough as we had a lot of wind that day so half of us turned back early but Adan kept leading the other half as far as we wanted to go. Our van ride was comfortable and Adan was a great guide. They were very responsive to all of my questions prior and even let me bring my own (inflatable) paddleboard to use instead of a kayak. I would highly recommend this company and won't hesitate to book with them again next time we are in Costa Maya.

Wonderful experience

We were a group of 8, three adults and five teenagers. All of us had a fantastic time and learned so much. The tour of the ruins was informative. The drive was pleasant and the van was very comfortable. The tour guide knew a lot. Our lunch with the Mayan family will be an unforgettable experience. We all learned how to make tortillas, which was quite humbling. The food was delicious and everyone was so kind.

Amazing tour with Erick

Our tour with Erick was amazing, he knew so much about the ruins and he is the best tour guide around. I have previously been on this excursion with a different company but Native Choice is the best!

Very informative, awesome experience

Eder was a great guide. He took us right through to the important part of the ruins to beat the crowd. He pointed out the best location for pictures and was able to answer all our questions. The Mayan village portion was the highlight of the day. Excellent food, beautiful garden yard and very authentic.

What an enjoyable afternoon! From the time we drove away from Native Choice Joel was a great teacher! Never did his talk sound as if he was bored with another group of tourists. He exhibited a great deal of passion and pride in his background and culture throughout his presentation, both in the vehicle and at the Ruins. I personally felt as if I was in a classroom learning history, geography, geology and a smattering of religion all at once....what a really fun time I had. As for the ride itself, I never felt unsafe as Abel drove carefully with sure hands on the steering wheel. I'm tempted to do the same tour again with the same crew.
