AWESOME!!!
We loved our experience with Native Choice. We did both the Chacchoben Ruins and the Maya Adventure which was fantastic. Our guide was Maria and she very knowledgeable with the Maya Ruins, it kept everyone in our group very interested and wanting to hear more. I don't think you would get a better experience with anyone else doing this tour. Would definitely recommend doing the Maya Ruins tour with Native Choice if you plan on it.
When you get off the ship you can walk to their office, which isn't very far and they will give you directions.
The groups are small so its a much more personal experience than how the cruise ships do it and we found it better organized than the crazy crowds they have on cruise ship excursions. The vans are all air conditioned so you don't have to worry about that. Native Choice also has insurance coverage which guarantees that if something were to happen, they would make sure you make it back to your ship, same guarantee the cruise ship guarantees.
If your going to Costa Maya and interested in learning about and seeing the Chacchoben Maya Ruins and experiences an authentic Mayan lunch, I would recommend booking through Native Choice, you won't be disappointed. Highly exceeded my expectations!

This was an awesome tour! My husband and I and our two kids, 15 yr old girl & 9 yr old boy, loved this day! Jasmine was our overall guide and she was excellent.
Ivan was the tour guide at the ruins and he made everything that he spoke of about the Mayan's and the ruins, interesting. We then went to have a Mayan lunch and the food was GREAT! We loved the entire day! We snorkeled the 3 excursion days prior and had a "land" day doing the Mayan Experience and had just a wonderful experience!!!
Jasmine and Ivan you are EXCEPTIONAL guides, nice ladies that made us lunch, you are GREAT cooks! Thank you, gracias, etc.!!!

Great tour
This was a highlight of our cruise. It was an easy walk from the port to the office, and the staff met us with bottled water while we checked in. We were the only 3 going to Dzibanche that day so it was essentially a private tour. The van was new and very comfortable, and Alex the driver and Kaci the guide were very professional. It took 2 hours to get there, but Kaci made the time fly with her knowledge of the Maya civilization and the ruins we were heading for. The ruins were very interesting - we had the area to ourselves and could climb around as much as we felt like, unlike other sites in Mexico where you cannot climb anymore. We then had our box lunch and drove back to the port, and got there with plenty of time to spare before the ship left.
We highly recommend this tour and provider - so much better than being crowded in on a cruise run tour, and at a better price.

Wonderful Day
We had a wonderful time. Our tour guides were Ivan & Rose. Ivan took us through the Mayan ruins portion of our tour. Rose then took us to a private resort for lunch & liquids. Spending time to tell us more about the area we were in. They were knowledgeable and warm and friendly. This tour was the best of all our tours.

Interesting tour
Our guide was David and he was very knowledgeable about the ruins, the history, the culture. He shared his knowledge in a way that was interesting. His passion for the culture is obvious in the way he conducts his tour. I appreciated all that he shared with us. I really enjoyed it.

Impressive, authentic cultural experience!
Beyond 5 stars, hands down! This was, by far, the highlight of anything I have done in my life! Every guide and employee went above and beyond from beginning to end to make our experience memorable. Groups were small [12-14 people per guide] which was a plus!
Our guide, Ivan, was amazing! His love for what he does is apparent. My favorite part of the day was listening to his stories and the cultural experience of the village of Chocchoben, including lunch. Will be looking forward to doing more trips with them, no doubt!

Great experience.
Erick was our tour guide, and Edgar was the driver. From beginning to end, it was a wonderful tour. Erick was knowledgeable and full of stories and information. Erick kept us occupied for the entire ride to the site with history and facts that we were not privy to, even though we had researched on the internet.
We would highly recommend this tour and this tour company.
