Best Excursion of our Cruise

I will be honest and say that I was a little hesitant to book our group of 11 on a shore excursion not offered through the cruise line, but I am so glad I did. This was by far the best excursion of our cruise. Our guide Edder and driver Melin were both fantastic! Edder was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The ruins were beautiful and an amazing piece of history. The monkeys were an added bonus of our tour. The seven color lagoon was like a private resort. Equipped with bathrooms and changing areas. The food was delicious and drinks very tasty. There were limited amounts of kayaks but everyone in our group were able to use them and no one felt rushed off. One suggestion would be to bring water shoes as the sand is very rocky when entering. On the way back to port we were able to stop by a roadside stand for some fresh fruit from the locals. It was an amazing day. Our family is still talking about this excursion. Thank You for the great memories.

Beyond expectations!

Joel was top notch!! From his expertise regarding local history and culture to his humor, to his desire to interact in a meaningful way with our group, we couldn't have asked for a better day at Costa Maya. The ruins were interesting and provided for a little exercise, the lunch at the lagoon was delicious, and the time to both relax and take kayaks for a spin topped off our excursion perfectly. I highly recommend this tour!!

Fantastic Experience in Costa Maya

My family and I had a wonderful experience with our tour guide and driver. Our tour guide had so much knowledge of the ruins we were going to and other sights in Mexico. The trip to the Mayan village was an experience one of the highlights of our cruise. The women from the village were delightful and worked hard to make a delicious meal for us. I would highly recommend the tour. The only downside is that the bus ride home was a bit warm but it was the hottest part of the day and the bus was full.

Ruin tour and dinner

Me and my wife had a great experience Eric and his cousin were amazing very knowledgeable and respectful it was a beautiful place and we loved the hospitality from our tour guides and the family we met in the village food was absolutely delicious we would love to have another experience sometime in the future with the same group thank y’all for everything we wish this company nothing but the best!!!!

20 years later and still the best Excursion of the cruise

My husband and I did this 20 years ago and had the most wonderful awesome experience. We never forgot it and always looked forward to doing it again. 20 years later the experience is still just as wonderful and fulfilling as it was the first time. It is my greatest hope and wish that this Mayan Village and all the Mayan people continue to prosper without losing their identity. For me, the world is a much better place having them here with us. I want to thank the ladies that took care of us and waited on us, they were so kind and generous. I would also like to thank our driver and tour guide for sharing with us all of their knowledge and helping us to understand what makes these people so special . Who knows what the future may hold, I may yet return again. Thank you to everyone for such a wonderful informative experience.
