We had a great time. We arrived early with a small group and had a very knowledgeable guide. He was Mayan and a history teacher. Got to take many pictures

One of the best excursions we have ever had.

I just wanted to thank you all for one of the best excursions we have ever had. Francisco brought the history and lives of the Mayan people and their culture to life for us. My teenage boys appreciated Francisco being attentive to them and involving them in the discussions.

Climbing the ruins has allowed me to check off one on my bucket list. The views from the top were beautiful and unforgettable.

Thank you again for providing a safe and enjoyable experience.

AMAZING SERVICE!!!!
We had a party of 8 booked to go to the ruin with david and ivan. Unexpectedly, our baby's stroller was stolen from the tour office. Thus, we did not get to fully enjoy the tour with the 2 yr old not strap in the stroller. Needless to say, David and Ivan went out of their ways and VERY fairly compensated us for the tour and the stroller. They take the cake for what a GREAT service company should be!

We couldn't have asked for a better guide!

We couldn't have asked for a better guide! David was absolutely wonderful...so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the Mayan Culture! I really felt like he invited us to spend a day with him and his family. His assistant guide was just as helpful. She didn't hesitate to jump in a kayak with my kids or run them to the bathroom - what a huge help! Bacalar Lagoon was absolutely beautiful as well; the most peaceful place I have ever visited. And finally, I want to thank David for giving us a "sneak peak" at his Mayan Village project he's been working on. We can't wait to come back and visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. We had a wonderful time and our guide Joel (Boris) was great. He was so informative and made sure we enjoyed the entire experience.

I came away with a greater understanding of the Mayan Culture and the people. We had a wonderful lunch with the host family and truly enjoyed the day. Thank you so much for the opportunity to step out of our own lives and into the lives of those that we met.

We highly recommend this tour.

My wife and I highly recommend this tour. Joel was our tour guide and was excellent. He was both informative and entertaining. It was obvious that he took great pride in his job and was excited to teach us about his culture. My only complaint about cruises is the commercialism of the ports. I have been on several cruises to Mexico, Alaska, Canada, and the Carribean and in each port the cruise lines will tell you that the thing to do in these places is shop, Mostly for jewelry. I always try to find something to do in which I can truely experience the culture of the area. Shopping is great of coarse but I prefer that it be from the locals. This was an awesome way to experience a little bit of life in the Yucatan. We had a group of 8 traveling together and booked a private tour. After visiting the beautifui sight of the ruins our driver, Beto, took us to the home of a local Mayan family and learned to make tortillas and had an amazing lunch prepared by the family. This was unanimously our favorite part of the tour and we all wished that we had more time to spend with the family. This is a first class operation with late model, air conditioned vans that are clean and comfortable. I can't say enough about Joel and our driver Beto. I would definitely recommend that you request him. His knowledge of the ruins are excellent.

This was a blast!

This was a blast!

We had tour guide Frina (I think that was her name). She was a mountain of knowledge. She knew the best places to stop for shade and a talk. The walking tour was very casual, not very physically demanding. I learned so much about the Costa Maya region and the history of the Mayans.

Frina was friendly and out going. Best tour guide I have had in a long time. I will suggest this tour company/tour to everyone!

Memorable, to say the least.

Memorable, to say the least. Fascinating tour of the ruins, with excellent information passed on by our guide. We both heartily recommend the "second part" of the tour, where you'll be welcomed into a Maya home, enjoy making tortillas and partake of a fabulous lunch. While everything was very tasty, I must single out the flan (and I'm NOT a dessert person, normally). The flan was spectacular . . . world class!
