A tour worthy of remembrance.
Our expectations were high given the pleasure we derived from our previous tour with Native Choice in 2004.
On this trip we had the pleasure of having Enedina Torres as our guide. As was the case in the past, Native Choice once again provided a tour worthy of remembrance.
The drive to and from the ruins was long, however, Enedina provided us with a host of information ranging from the native flora and fauna, a timeline of the Mayan Empire as well as pointing out areas of interest along the way.
Enedina was a personable tour guide and a magnificent host for our excursion. She readily answered questions and pointed out things we may have missed if left to our own devices. Of course, we will long remember the taste of fresh pineapple and chili she treated us to en route. Indeed, she even offered to stop on the return trip that we might smaple fresh fruit again.
Native Choice is still #1 in our books. Thank you all so very much for making this trip so memorable.

This trip was amazing!
This trip was amazing! David was a fantastic tour guide. It was such an enjoyable day at the ruins.
The icing on the cake was when he took us to his village and Ivan's mother and sister made us lunch. That was a once in a lifetime experience that I will never forget! They were so sweet to bring us into their home like that and make us feel so welcome.
I would recommend this tour to everyone!

Wonderful tour to The Chacchoben
Dear David,
I want to thank you for the wonderful tour to The Chacchoben Ruins. My whole family (11) thought it was the highlight of our vacation!!! I have to say that we were worried about taking a tour not provided by the Cruise Line. However, we had the best experience with you. David showed a great knowledge of the Maya culture, history, and civilization. He immersed us in the story of his people in a very interesting way. Even our kids were delighted and he sparked their interest with his passion for the Mayan culture. It was not only a great experience but it cost much less than any of the tours offered by the Royal Caribbean. We were all impressed with his engaging tour and we highly recommend it to everyone.

What a great day!
What a great day! We toured the ruins with my mom, grandmother (85 yo) and children. It was beautiful and informative. We then followed it up with the Mayan experience and was welcomed into the home of a local Mayan family. They were warm and inviting. They seemed genuinely interested in us and our happiness. The food was incredible AND there was plenty to eat! They also showed us how to make tortillas Mayan-style and local clothing and dance styles. It was hard to leave. My grandmother said goodbye with a tear in her eye. This was the highlight of our cruise and not to be missed!

What a great excursion!

My family and I went on the Mayan experience shore excursion in December. I just wanted to let you know how great the excursion was. My grandchildren are still coming up with things they learned from you. In fact, my granddaughter told me that when she was telling her friends about the cruise, our excursions, and then a week in Florida, all she could think of to tell them about was the Mayan day.
You do a great job.
